Fletcher Lake has a shoreline of 21.9 km made up of multiple quiet bays and 80% Crown land.

It is located east of the village of Dorset on the north side of paved Livingstone Lake Road that runs along the north shore of Kawagama Lake east of Muskoka in Algonquin Highlands. The cottage property is north of Livingstone Rd. on a private road with minimal traffic.

The lake is great for fishing, has direct access into two very short portage routes into Crown land – one north into Bloody Lake and one easterly into Poverty Lake; both manageable to explore without exposure to big water.

Fletcher Lake is on the south-west tip of Algonquin Park and there are several remote access points into the park a short drive to the east.

A nearby boat launch is available for your motorized craft.

Excursions to Dorset, Bigwin Boat Cruise, the Dorset Fire Tower, Algonquin Park, Haliburton Wolf Centre, and the towns of Dorset, Huntsville, Dwight, Bracebridge and Haliburton are all within an hour or so drive.

This secluded cottage property is located on Fletcher Lake, east of Muskoka on the north side of Kawagama Lake in the Algonquin Highlands.  The cottage property faces west and is located 1.3 km along a private road that runs north from paved Livingstone Road.

The floating dock is in deep water and  is equipped to safely secure your boat on either the north or south side.

Fishing for bass off the dock is perfect to keep children busy for hours, but if you are more serious and have the right gear, there are a few deep holes where the trout hide. 

There is direct access from Fletcher via 2 very short portage routes into undeveloped Crown lakes – one north into Bloody Lake and one easterly into Poverty Lake, both manageable for beginners to explore without exposure to big water.

A free public boat launch is available close by for your motorized craft.
